Delhi HC issues notice to AIIMS chief

The Delhi High Court issued a notice to All India Institute of Medical Sciences Director P Venugopal on a public interest litigation.

The PIL challenged the validity of Union Health Minister A Ramadoss holding the post of president of the institutes governing body.

Justice P Anil Kumar granted two weeks to the director to file his reply on the issue and posted the matter for hearing to October 16.

Court notice to Delhi Police officer over property dispute

The Delhi High Court Tuesday issued notice to a senior police officer for his alleged illegal intervention in a property dispute between two neighbours. Besides Assistant Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Rajbir Singh, notice was also issued to Police Commissioner K.K.
