DLF to set up Industrial Park over 1200 acre in Mohali at Rs. 2700 crore

The DLF Home Development Ltd. evinced keen interest to set up an Industrial Park over 1200 acre in Mohali district, Punjab at a cost of Rs. 2700 crore under Super Mega Mixed Use Industrial Park Policy.

Making a presentation to the Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal at Kapurthala house, New Delhi this afternoon, senior General Manager of DLF Group Ajay Chug assured the Chief Minister that the group would complete the entire project by December 2010.He said that the project would provide direct and indirect employment to 275000 persons.

In another presentation made by the Director Amtek Auto Ltd, Sanjeev Bhasin apprised the Chief Minister that Amtek Group had already approached the state government for facilitating in setting up their forthcoming Mega Project “Amtek Railcar Industries Pvt. Ltd. (ARIPL) for manufacture of different type of wagons for Indian Railways, private operator in India, Southeast Asian Market and Middle East Market.

US-based hedge fund Indus Capital Partners is investing Rs 206 crore for equity stake in the two special economic Zones (SEZs) of Delhi-based real estate developer Uppal Group. Indus Capital is buying a 25% stake in our Noida SEZ for Rs 100 crore and 50% in Greater Noida SEZ for Rs 106 crore, Uppal Group director (finance) Ajay Mangal told ET. In an auction for nine hotel plots that lasted about an hour, the Delhi Development Authority failed to receive a single bid as hotel developers stayed away, citing unattractive locations and in some cases high reserve prices. JP Morgan invests Rs 250 cr in BPTP

JP Morgan Chase has invested Rs 250 crore in BPTP Ltd, a Delhi-based real estate company which came into spotlight earlier this year when it clinched 95-acre of prime commercial land at Noida for Rs 5,006 crore. Last year, Citigroup realty arm, Citigroup Property Investors, had picked up 5.8 per cent stake for Rs 322.5 crore in the company. Merrill Lynchs real estate arm had also pumped in Rs 112.5 crore in a joint venture project of the company.
