New technology to recycle wastewater in Delhi:
In an effort to ease the capital's water woes, the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has hired the latest technology to treat wastewater. The Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) technology will treat sewage water for secondary use, including flushing, vehicle washing and gardening and other factory works. It has already been installed in DJB's main Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in Okhla, officials said. If found feasible, it will be incorporated in all the STPs in Delhi.
